Obsession and Goodbye

There might be a bit of an obsession in my house. It is called Minecraft. Jaden started playing this game about 1 1/2 years ago and now he has his sisters playing it. Here is all three of them playing it. Two on the computer and one on the iPhone. I don't get what is so fun about the game but apparently it is fun otherwise why would all three of my kids like it?

A bit of sad news from the family....our pet hamster, Penny, has died. It happened on a Friday afternoon right before Corbin and I were going out on a date. I found her while checking if Maelyn's room was clean. It was so sad telling Maelyn that her pet had died but she handled it pretty well. Maelyn cried and Claire asked questions. It was a good chance to talk about death, Heaven, and our spirits. The next day we were able to have a little funeral for Penny. The girls painted rocks for a headstone and then we buried Penny in the backyard corner. Goodbye Penny.
