Every other year the Miller side of the family has a reunion. Last time it was up in the beautiful mountains and this time it was in the desolate part of Idaho. There were a couple reasons to do it here. They did it for my uncle who can't go up high in elevation because of a lung problems and they also thought this certain place looked like a blast. They held it at this ranch where a family lets people use their property for reunions. It has a huge water slide and a zip line that they let you use. It was a pretty good idea because the kids had a blast. I on the other hand didn't enjoy the really hot weather with no shade. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I hate the heat. My body is already super hot so when the temperature gets hot, my body has a hard time handling it. I also didn't get any sleep the first night. We were sharing an RV with my parents and they kept me up all night snoring! There were also semi trucks driving up and down the country road right by us all night long. So the heat and the lack of sleep didn't make me a very happy camper! Good thing the kids slept because they needed their energy. They spent the whole day doing the water slide!
The zip line was fun for those who were willing to risk getting hurt at the bottom. They didn't have a good way to stop yourself safely. You had to drag your feet to slow yourself down (once your feet could touch). Everyone tried it except for me. No thanks! Claire wanted to do it which was a mistake. She about ripped my arm off because she couldn't stop herself so I tried to stop her. Ouch!
Claire was doing that waterslide until the sun was going down. She is an energizer bunny!
